Small beginnings
The Pre-School at St Joseph's, established some 40 years ago, was acquired by Kim Foster in 2021. Mrs Foster stewards the school on a full time basis as Managing Director. She is a highly experienced and well respected early years teacher whose educational career spans over 20 years.

‘I am absolutely delighted to be leading St Joseph’s Pre-School and to be building on the brilliant legacy established by the previous Directors, Anne and Nicola. It’s a little known fact that Anne’s Pre-School start-up and my St Joseph’s tenure started in the very same classroom!
A huge thanks to Mr Coldwell and the Board of Governors for endorsing my venture. The faith shown in my commitment to uphold the ethos of the St Joseph’s community in my new endeavour is encouraging and humbling in equal measure.

Our care ethos
As a springboard for children to St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, we are fundamentally aligned to the School Mission statement which is that we all 'Live, love and learn in a caring Christian community'.
The welfare of the children placed in our care is paramount. The team undertakes all requisite care, first aid and educational training as a minimum. All statutory and non-statutory policies are available for viewing on site.
St Joseph's Pre-School is authorised and regulated by OFSTED.
